Komen for the Cure has a National Toll-Free Breast Care Helpline that is answered by trained and caring volunteers and staff committed to providing timely and accurate information to anyone with breast health and breast cancer concerns, including breast cancer patients and their family and friends. The Helpline does not provide medical advice, make referrals to physicians, or evaluate physicians, medical facilities or services.

Y-ME National Breast Cancer Hotline: 1-800-221-2141

The 24-hour Y-ME National Breast Cancer Hotline is a free, confidential resource for information about breast cancer and support, and it is the only hotline staffed by trained peer counselors who are breast cancer survivors. These peer counselors are experienced in handling all types of questions related to breast cancer, and can talk with you about your feelings and concerns. They will make sure your questions are answered and give you the information you need in plain language. (And in many languages; thanks to support from the Avon Foundation the Y-ME Hotline offers interpreters in 150 languages.)
